Fishing Reports 2019
Saltwater Fishing Report for the week ending December 20, 2011

Saltwater fishing has been excellent the past week with anglers reporting plenty of hook-ups on some tides. Shelter Point is the hot spot right now, and many Winter Chinook are keepers. Needlefish hoochy patterns in dark and glow colours like Army Truck, Glow below and Skunk, work well at this time of year, as the fish are feeding on resident needlefish populations at the Lighthouse, the Hump and Shelter Point.
Bates Beach and Kitty Coleman have also been producing a lot of fish. Find bottom at 150-200' and troll parallel to shore in the direction the current is moving. Small spoons work well in this area. Some of the best ones are Luhr Jensen Coyote spoons in 3.5 or 4".
